BBQ Team info

KCBS Masters info:

KCBS Masters Teams will compete in a 4-meat competition (brisket, chicken, ribs, pork). All contestants will be judged according to KCBS rules by official judges to compete for prize money.

Teams will be asked to cook a pork butt for our people’s choice competition. (Can be served to the public by event staff once cooked)

Cost: $400.00 Per Team

There will be a $50 fee to opt out of the PC Pork cook.

Prizes

Grand Champion: $1500 1st: $400.00 3rd: $200.00 5th: $50.00

Reserve Champion: $1000 2nd: $250.00 4th: $100.00

There will be prizes given 1st through 5th place for each category.

People’s Choice Info:

The People’s Choice competition is available to KCBS members and non members alike. If you want to try and mix it up with the professional teams and see how your Pulled pork stacks up with the best, now’s your chance!

The People’s Choice competition will be a popular vote competition. Trophy rewards will be given to 1st-3rd place.

Cost: $45.00

(KCBS Teams PC fee is included in their Masters Competition entry.)
